Getting the size right is the one thing we cannot judge for you, and the one thing that decides whether a piece is worn or left in a drawer. It takes about two minutes to measure at home.
Measure a ring you already wear
The most reliable method, if you have a ring that fits the right finger. Place it over the circles below with the screen at full brightness, and match the inner edge of the band to the circle beneath it. Measure the inside of the band, not the outside.
Lay a ring you already wear over the circles, matching the inside edge of the band. Set your browser zoom to 100% first, or the circles will not be true to size.

We make to US sizes. If you know your size in another system, find it in the row above and order the US number beside it. European sizes are the inside circumference in millimetres, so they match that column directly. Conversions between systems are close but not exact; if you are between two, tell us your measurement in millimetres and we will work from that.
Measure the finger itself
Wrap a strip of paper or a length of string around the base of the finger, snug but not tight. Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat against a ruler, and read the length in millimetres. That number is your circumference, and the chart above converts it.
Four things that change the answer
Fingers are largest at the end of the day and in warm weather, and can be a half size smaller on a cold morning. Measure in the evening, at room temperature, for the size you will live with.
A wide band sits tighter than a narrow one. If a band is 6 mm or more across, it will feel about a half size smaller than the number says. Tell us and we will allow for it.
Knuckles matter more than the base of the finger. The ring has to pass over the knuckle, so if yours is noticeably larger, size to clear it and tell us; we can adjust the shank to stop the ring spinning once it is on.
Both hands differ. Most people's dominant hand measures a little larger. Measure the finger the ring will actually be worn on.
Bracelets
Wrap the same strip of paper around your wrist, just below the wrist bone, where the bracelet will sit. Then add for the fit you want: about 1.5 cm for a tennis bracelet that moves as you do, or 1 cm for something closer to the wrist. Tell us the wrist measurement and the fit you prefer, and we will make it to that.
Necklace lengths
| Length | Where it sits | |
|---|---|---|
| 40 cm | 16 in | Sits at the base of the neck |
| 45 cm | 18 in | The usual length, resting at the collarbone |
| 50 cm | 20 in | Just below the collarbone |
| 55 cm | 22 in | Sits on the sternum |
| 60 cm | 24 in | Below the sternum, over a high neckline |
If you are not certain, ask before you order
Leave the size blank and we will help you settle it before anything is made. This matters more than it might sound: each piece is cut and set to your size after you order, so a ring made to the wrong number has to be made again. Resizing is charged, and some designs — full eternity bands, channel-set pieces — cannot be resized at all and would need remaking from the start.
A message costs nothing. Send us your measurement in millimetres if you are between sizes and we will tell you which way to go.
